Kenya is the world’s 5th largest exporter of CTC black tea, used in tea bags. We were lucky enough to discover that Kenya also produces some of the best black orthodox teas, one of which is FRANK Black. The raw green leaves are grown on the Southern slopes of Mount Kenya in Western Kenya, and turned into black tea by our partner factory Kangaita, Kenya’s home of specialty tea.
